In order to take full advantage of what the MBA Career Services has to offer, simply complete the following TWO steps:
1. Sign-up through Career Services Online (CSO)
2. Register with MBA Career Services
----------
1. Sign-up through Career Services Online (CSO)
An account has been already created for you. To access that account you must use the following link:
Class of 2012:
https://gtscandidate.mbafocus.com/USC/Candidates/Login.aspx?pid=919
Class of 2013:
https://gtscandidate.mbafocus.com/USC/Candidates/Login.aspx?pid=907
If you cannot find your account, please email Seta Kenady at seta.kenady@marshall.usc.edu.
To utilize CSO, you must do the following:
1) Log-in using the link above; your user name is your name “firstname.lastname” and the
password is “marshall”. Once in, it is recommended that you change your password.
2) Complete your profile.**

**Please note: Elements of the profile are search parameters for the 36,000 recruiters representing 20,000 companies that have access to the on-line resume book. Too little detail will limit your “hits” by recruiters, but too much information will make you appear scattered and unfocused. You will be “revisiting and revising” your CSO profile regularly during your job search process, so try to complete the profile in a way that accurately reflects your thinking as today.
3) Upload a “placeholder” resume; simply type RESUME PLACEHOLDER on a Word
document, name it RESUME PLACEHOLDER, and upload it.

4) Click Submit for Approval.
Once you have completed these four steps, you will see three tabs – My Profile, Workshops, and Events.
Detailed instructions for the complete use of CSO can be found in the Career Services Online Instruction Manual. (This will be posted shortly. Until then, please contact MBA Career Services for a copy.)
2. MBA Career Services Registration
All 2nd Year MBA.PM students who wish to have access to any career services during the school year MUST register with MBA Career Services (MBACS).
There are 4 steps in the registration process:
1) Complete personal profile in Career Services Online (CSO) - See Step 1. above.
2) Create Your “Beverly B. Student” resume (Beverly B. Student Resume Self-Study Guide 2011, now available in Sharepoint)
3) Submit your draft Beverly B formatted resume. Expect feedback within 10 business days. Title the email "PT 2013 Resume Review"
- If you last name begins with A – M, please send your resume to Janice Nishiyama at jnishiya@marshall.usc.edu.
- If your last name begins with N – Z, please send your resume to Virginia Lucas at Virginia.lucas@marshall.usc.edu.
4) Your approved Beverly B formatted resume must be fully vetted and approved by the contractors and uploaded into CSO. Your profile and CSO account must then be activated by MBACS on your request. At that point your MBACS registration process will be completed and you will have access to the full range of career services offered by our office.
Detailed information about the registration process and MBA Career Services Policies can be found in the 2011 MBA Career Services Handbook.
Once you have completed the registration process, in addition to My Profile, Workshops, and Events tabs, you will now have three additional tabs - Correspondence Opportunities, Interviews/Resume Drops, and Company Database.
Please feel free to contact your AGBS.PM VPs of Professional Development or the Keenan MBA Career Services (located on the 3rd floor of Popovich Hall) if you have any questions.
