Raghav Mahajan

President, SABA

Dear Marshall community,

As the president of the South Asian Business Association (SABA) for the 2024–2025 term, I am privileged to serve our vibrant community at USC Marshall. Under the previous leadership of Poluri Jaya Prakash Reddy and his board, we established a strong foundation which we will build upon. I am committed to upholding our legacy of inclusivity and cultural appreciation, which sets SABA apart and offers unique opportunities to South Asian business students, alumni, and industry leaders.

This year, we aim to enhance our focus on professional and career development for our members. We recognize the importance of preparing for a dynamic business environment. Hence, we plan to introduce workshops and panels that connect students with industry leaders and alumni, particularly from the South Asian business community.

Community is the heart of SABA. We will continue to foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where every member feels valued and empowered. Through both large-scale cultural celebrations and smaller, intimate gatherings, we will strive to deepen our connections and appreciate the diverse heritage that each member brings to our association.

We will continue to celebrate our customs by hosting our signature cultural events, including Diwali, Holi, and Eid, which will involve the larger USC community in the diversity of South Asian cultures.

With the support of our members and a dedicated board, we can make this year incredibly fulfilling. I invite everyone to join us on this adventure, make recommendations, and collaborate to make this an exciting and successful year.

Let’s make this year memorable with SABA!

Fight On!
