President's Message
Welcome to OMC!
Thank you for your interest in the Operations Management Club! I’m honored and thrilled to be serving as the OMC President for the 2021-2022 academic year. With the help of my board, we will build a strong legacy of the club and ensure that our members get incredible value out of the club. We hope you will learn and enjoy your MBA journey with us. To accomplish this, our initiatives for the upcoming year will focus on three main areas:
Academic and Career Development
We are planning workshops and panels to allow our members to maximize recruiting opportunities. We will also help our members with resume reviews all the way to mock interviews through summer internships and full-time jobs recruiting process. With our help, we want to ensure that all members can find their dream internships or full-time jobs beyond their expectations!
Internal and External Networking
Networking events are our highlights of OMC and we will continue this tradition with great Clubs' Mingle events, Alumni mixers, Day on the Job opportunities, and other off-campus or outdoor social networking. We look forward to learning with each other and from talents like you!
Professional Skill development
We plan on continuing our partnership with companies like EY, Deloitte, AMGEN, and Mattel to offer insights into supply chain and operations. In addition, we will partner with the Center for Global Supply Chain for joint training sessions in Six Sigma and other certificate course sessions. Most important of all, we will also offer case preparation, Business Analytics, and presentation skills workshops to sharpen your professional skills.
During the course of the year, we will look to bring top companies on campus as well as organize Day on the Jobs. Our goal is to guide you through your MBA journey and provide you with the tools and valuable experiences that will help you to succeed. Please reach out to me or the great OMC Board if you have questions or suggestions!
